CYF Experience...This Sunday
Hey guys and gals, I wanted to let you know that we WILL have our CYF Experience this Sunday (6/28/09). However, we will be meeting at the church instead of McDonald's! If you have any questions, feel free to call me!

Beach Anyone???
June 29th - July 1st - CYF Lite (Monday - Wednesday)
Beach Trip/Orientation for New Orleans Mission Trip 2009
All CYF participants are invited - even those who are ineligible (due to age) for New Orleans Mission Trip!
We will be meeting at Covenant Christian Church at 10 AM on Monday morning. We will be staying at the Johnston's condo just north of N. Myrtle Beach!!
For all who are interested - please contact the church office (919 481-4715) by 12 noon on Wednesday June 24th to reserve your spot!!! You may even e-mail Randy at randy-ccc@bellsouth.net as well.

What to wear: Wear clothes/shoes you don't mind throwing away (just in case)!

Chi Rho Lite...
Remember, next Wednesday June 17th! We're heading to Frankie's Fun Park for some Putt-Putt! Please contact the church office by Monday PM if you are interested in attending! All Up-coming 5th - 8th graders are WELCOME! See June 2nd blog post for more information!
Summertime Kids...
Due to the threat of severe weather, last night's Kung Fu Panda movie event was canceled! However, I am in the process for scheduling a Durham Bulls game night that will replace last night's canceled movie night! Keep your eyes peeled for the dates/time for this event!
CYF Experience Cancelled June 14th & 21st
Just a notice. Due to the fact that I will be teaching another class at the church on June 14th & 21st, there will be no CYF Experience meetings either Sunday! If you have any questions or concerns please contact the church office at 919-481-4715 or e-mail Randy at randy-ccc@bellsouth.net. Regular classes will continue on June 28th - 10 AM - McDonalds (corner of High House Rd and Cary Parkway) See you then!

Youth/Children's Ministry - This Summer...
Hello All, just wanted to keep you updated on the happenings in/around the church this Summer for Children and Youth Ministries @ Covenant. If you've already read the June Newsletter you may already know that we've got some things going on this Summer. I just wanted to be a little more specific about these up-coming events:
June 11th - Next Thursday....Summertime Kids:
Movies by Moonlight (Kung Fu Panda) - Koko Booth Amphitheater, Cary, NC.
Movie costs: ($3 for adults - kids under 12 are free). (**CASH ONLY**)
Movie starts at: Dusk
Who's Invited?: All Are Welcome!!!
What to Bring: Blankets and/or folding chairs and picnic foods for snacking!
Where to meet: We'll meet at the Amphitheater just before dusk! We'll try and save some space on the (ake side - before the trees) for our group!

Putt-Putt costs: $6 per participant! (Note: video games/snacks available for purchase!)
Who's Invited: All rising 5th - 8th graders, any friends/family interested.
What to Bring: At least $6 for the round of putt-putt. (Extra $$$ for video games/snacks optional)
Where to Meet: Covenant Christian Church: 5:30 PM (Will meet back at church for pick-up @ 8 PM)
