Hello All, just wanted to keep you updated on the happenings in/around the church this Summer for Children and Youth Ministries @ Covenant. If you've already read the June Newsletter you may already know that we've got some things going on this Summer. I just wanted to be a little more specific about these up-coming events:
June 11th - Next Thursday....Summertime Kids:
Movies by Moonlight (Kung Fu Panda) - Koko Booth Amphitheater, Cary, NC.
Movie costs: ($3 for adults - kids under 12 are free). (**CASH ONLY**)
Movie starts at: Dusk
Who's Invited?: All Are Welcome!!!
What to Bring: Blankets and/or folding chairs and picnic foods for snacking!
Where to meet: We'll meet at the Amphitheater just before dusk! We'll try and save some space on the (ake side - before the trees) for our group!

June 17th - Chi Rho Lite (All up-coming 5th - 8th graders):
Putt-Putt @ Frankie's Fun Park, Raleigh!
What Time: 5:30 PM to 8 PM!
Putt-Putt costs: $6 per participant! (Note: video games/snacks available for purchase!)
Who's Invited: All rising 5th - 8th graders, any friends/family interested.
What to Bring: At least $6 for the round of putt-putt. (Extra $$$ for video games/snacks optional)
Where to Meet: Covenant Christian Church: 5:30 PM (Will meet back at church for pick-up @ 8 PM)

June 27th - (Recent Membership Class Participants & Chi Rho Lite):
Help Covenant Go GREEN - Literally!
(Want to help paint "The Ark"? Here's your chance!)
Meeting Place: Covenant Christian Church
Meeting Time: 10 AM to 12 PM
Who's Invited: All students from recent membership class and Chi Rho Lite participants/families)
What to wear: Wear clothes/shoes you don't mind throwing away (just in case)!

June 29th - July 1st -CYF Lite (Monday - Wednesday)
Trip to the BEACH!!!! - Orientation for New Orleans Mission Trip 2009
Who's Invited: All CYF participants including those ineligible for New Orleans Mission Trip!
Meeting Place: Covenant Christian Church 10 AM!
Where: We will be staying at The Johnston's Condo just north of N. Myrtle Beach!!
